YNYT, LLC Hiring for Freelance Video Editor Job at Remote Full Time

We are seeking a talented video editor to help us create content on our YouTube channel. We create daily videos about motorcycles with a team of 8 people. We are one of the largest motorcycle entertainment channels on YouTube.

An ideal candidate has previous experience editing in a fun and humorous way that includes relevant and topical internet humor.

This position would focus on two videos per week in our scripted “list video” format. This would involve creating a video essay around a pre-recorded audio script. These videos are typically 10 to 12 minutes in length. Contractor will have 5 days lead time to turn videos around, with a 48 hour “preview” time to allow our production manager to view the video before posting it live.

The schedule would be flexible as long as video content gets turned in on time. Deliverables (i.e: the two list videos) due the following Saturday and Sunday for final review before release on the channel on the following Monday and Tuesday. All of our content is organized on a project management software called Airtable, and will be accessible by the team member.

All work can be done remotely. Candidate needs to have a laptop or computer capable of editing 1080p videos and rendering them out to upload to our server.

The ideal candidate will want regular video editing work, set their own schedule and enjoy the creative process of making videos.

Candidate will need to have motorcycle knowledge to create these videos. Candidates who do not possess motorcycle knowledge do not need to apply.
