Corporate & Investment Banking delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; investment banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe.
The Corporate & Investment Banking Cross-Platform Content Strategy Leader will be responsible for setting the overall business and marketing thought leadership strategic goals and identifying marketing/sales opportunities that work across businesses such as Commercial Banking and Wealth & Investment Banking. This role will work closely with senior leaders within Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Markets, Global Payments, and International Regions to develop a multi-year content strategy roadmap that balances line of business and channel needs with a client-centric focus in order to deliver on business objectives. The leader will also oversee content strategy efforts that span across business segments, government policies, industries, economics, research and insights, and public affairs (e.g. Environmental Sustainability and Governance, Diversity and Inclusion, Community outreach), to ensure the proper strategic content marketing alignment and perspective.
This leader will direct content strategy across multiple platforms, channels and formats to deliver relevant content that enhances the Corporate & Investment Banking brand, deepens client engagement and preference, and builds awareness and industry credibility. This leader will approach thought leadership with the goal to optimize Corporate & Investment Banking content specific to print, digital, television/video, podcasts, social media, whitepapers, commentaries, newsletters, webinars and website, events, in order to enhance Wells Fargo’s reputation as a leader in the industry and support the LOB objectives. Manage a small team and/or lead virtual cross-functional teams.
The leader will need to be able to cultivate and nurture relationships internally and externally while influencing groups at all levels and be central to achieving the mission of the strategic marketing group. The leader will work with dedicated resources in Centers of Excellence across Wells Fargo to operationalize, manage external content vendors to drive impact, define new innovation to optimize automation and manage marketing sciences to deliver strong return on investment objectives. Key centers of excellence include Digital & Social Capabilities, Digital Channels, Digital Marketing Execution, In-house Agency, Brand Management, Technology, and Insights & Analytics.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
