VP of Strategic Operations Full Time NEW

Role Description The VP of Strategic Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and scaling AGRO’s operational strategy across global markets. This role oversees end-to-end operations, including capacity planning, supply chain coordination, process optimization, and cross-functional execution to support growth and profitability. The VP will drive strategic planning initiatives, translate corporate objectives into operational roadmaps, and ensure alignment between product, sales, service, and finance. Key responsibilities include managing P&L performance, monitoring operational KPIs, and implementing continuous improvement programs to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role also involves leading strategic projects, partnering with senior leadership on market expansion and innovation initiatives, and building a high-performing operations team through clear goals, coaching, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong Operations Management experience, including process optimization, capacity planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Proven P&L Management skills with a track record of driving profitability, cost control, and performance against financial targets.
• Strategic Planning capabilities, including translating business goals into operational plans, setting KPIs, and leading execution.
• Project Management skills to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Customer Service orientation with experience shaping service standards, resolving escalations, and improving customer experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of distributed or remote teams, with strong communication, influence, and change management skills.
• Experience in capital equipment, industrial manufacturing, or process industries (paper, pulp, bioenergy, or chemicals) is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a data-driven environment, using analytics and KPIs to inform operational decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving.
