Human Resources Manager Qualifications:

• Preferred to be a high school graduate and have a college education in HR or business.
• Experience: Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care preferred
• Recruitment: experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation
• Must be a good communicator.

Human Resources Manager Position Summary:

Responsible for performing facility HR functions in accordance with policies and procedures and applicable federal, state, and local laws, guidelines and regulations and as directed by the Administrator or designee.

Human Resources Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating HR activities within the facility.
• Assists department heads with staffing needs to include active recruiting.
• Promotes the implementation of facility-sponsored recruitment and retention programs; assists department heads in the development and implementation of programs designed to improve staff recruitment and retention.
• Assures that all personnel are informed of established HR and payroll practices.
• Maintains workers compensation programs.
• Manages benefits program.
• Manages payroll processing biweekly.
• Actively recruits for all direct care staff to assure proper staffing levels for facility.
• Works directly with Staffing Coordinator to assure new hires are acclimated and properly trained for responsibilities.
