The Vice President, UX Design is critical in developing product vision, strategy and roadmap to create Flexera’s next-generation user experience. With a focus guided on how our products land on the customer, you will lead UX design and research in collaboration with designer, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to provide design leadership, and innovation opportunities. You will provide thought leadership to resolve complex problems through effective communication and by developing a thorough understanding of our users.
The Vice President should be fluent in all aspects of user-centered design and be able to generate UX requirements when provided business requests, design graphic elements, and build UI mockups and prototypes to present to stakeholders. You will be charged with leading the user experience discipline, crafting and driving the strategy for how our products present themselves to the world.
Oversee all aspects of User Experience across research, conceptual design, prototyping, detailed design, usability testing, and implementation
Collaborate with user researchers to validate and test ideas; improve research, design, and development processes to gain efficiency, remove obstacles, and drive adoption
Lead and mentor a team of UX designers and researchers, attract top talent and manage the performance of your team
Evangelize user-centric design principles while serving as a subject matter authority to internal as well as external partners and stakeholders
Innovate and research emerging engagement technologies to deliver a rich, intuitive and engaging experience

Experiencing designing for/leading teams working on B2B enterprise products (corporate IT focus)
Overall thought leadership in all aspects of user-centered design principles
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in communicating research, conceptual ideas, and design rationale within a user-centered design process
Experience in usability standards, design heuristics, and responsive design techniques
Experience with user-centered research (e.g., usability testing, contextual inquiry, field interviews)
Past success of building high performing teams as well as developing current team members
You should be prepared to share a professional design portfolio and provide real-world examples of how your work impacted outcomes.
