In this role, you will be responsible for building resilient systems, leading high-performing teams, and evolving Mood’s product portfolio and fulfillment models to enable growth in existing channels and to support new channels and product categories. End-to-end supply chain ownership will include responsibility for all sourcing, vendor management, manufacturing, distribution, fulfillment operations, and quality..
A key strategic advantage and differentiator for Mood is that it operates its own light manufacturing, warehousing, and fulfillment center of excellence in Charlotte, NC. The VP of Ops will be based at this facility and will manage warehouse leadership, the Director of Manufacturing and Product Operations (not local), and the Senior Manager of Supply Chain (based in Charlotte).
Mood sells primarily through the Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale channels (both to retailers and distributors), and the VP of Ops will have purview over all operating channels.
The VP of Ops will report directly to the CEO. This is a highly visible leadership team role that partners closely with other cross-functional leads including Digital, Strategy, Finance, Data, Marketing, and Sales.
