Vice President of Global Expansion
Position Summary
The Vice President of Global Expansion is responsible for leading the organization’s international growth strategy, including market entry, geographic scaling, and expansion of operations across new and existing regions. This role focuses on identifying high-potential markets, building scalable entry frameworks, and ensuring successful execution of expansion initiatives. The position plays a critical role in driving global footprint growth and long-term revenue diversification.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the global expansion strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities based on market size, demand, competition, and regulatory environment
Develop and execute market entry strategies, including partnerships, localization, and operational setup
Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, legal, and finance teams to support expansion initiatives
Establish scalable frameworks for entering and operating in new regions
Monitor performance of new markets and optimize expansion strategies accordingly
Manage risks related to international expansion, including operational and compliance considerations
Drive alignment between global strategy and regional execution teams
Support localization of products, services, and go-to-market approaches
Build and lead a team focused on international growth and expansion execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of experience in international business, expansion strategy, or global operations
Proven track record of successfully entering and scaling in new markets
Strong understanding of global market dynamics and cross-border operations
Experience working across multiple regions and cultures
Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills
