Job Description
McDermott, Will & Schulte LLP is building one of the most ambitious AI programs in the legal industry — and great design is central to making it work. We’re looking for a UX Designer to serve as the design authority across our AI Solutions Delivery team: advising analysts on UX approaches, setting the quality bar for every user-facing solution we ship, and stepping in to drive design directly when it matters most. This is not a production design role. It’s a judgment role — for a designer who can look at an AI-generated interface and immediately know what’s right, what’s wrong, and exactly how to make it better.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
We are tool-agnostic. Whether you reach for Figma, an AI-assisted development platform, a whiteboard, or a live prototype depends entirely on what the situation calls for. What we care about is design judgment — the ability to make the right call, explain it clearly, and raise the bar on everything the team ships.
