The Engineering Supervisor will manage and control the Plant Operations and Maintenance activities at the Hospital Campus, and outbuildings in a safe and efficient manner. To manage preventive and demand work order system to ensure timely completion and comply with applicable code agency rules, regulations, and to provide good customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Eight (8) years’ experience with building/grounds and/or facility operations. 3 years in a supervisory position.
• Private or Military Technical Training in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines. At least Three (3) courses from list of Boilers, Chillers, Refrigeration Equipment, Electrical Fundamentals, Electronic Fundamentals, Hydraulic Machinery, etc.
• Computer literate (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Maintenance Database Programs)
• Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.

Preferred or Specialized Requirements

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Five (5) years’ experience in a hospital Engineering department (3 years in a supervisory position).
