Jacobs is seeking a Junior Telecommunications Equipment Installer and Repairer who conducts computer and hands on training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow, and reports; understanding job-specific functions and tasks. Not limited to computer network training, can be tactical system utilization of emerging equipment. Determines system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems. Specifically supports Task 4. Conducts IT training classes in concert with or by vendor supplied materials or systems. Qualifications * BA, Justice Administration; Security Certificate, DCGS-A v3.1.6 NET Trainer Certificate, DCGS-A v3.1.6 Field Support Engineer Certificate, DCGS-A v3.1.7 Field Support Engineer Certificate * Security SME with 25 -years of experience in All-Source Intelligence, and 10-years of focused experience as a DCGS-A Instructor/Mentor/Field Support Engineer specializing in DCGS-A System, Targeting, Counter-IED, BIO-Metrics, Counterterrorism, Force Protection, Information Operations and special operations. * Proficient in processing, exploiting, and disseminating information in a finished Intelligence product. * Skilled leader with a history of accomplishing tasks and completing projects. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate detailed information effectively at all levels. * Hand-selected as the CENTCOM AOR DCGS-A Embedded Trainer Theater Lead to manage personnel in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. * Ensured the Embedded Trainers created relevant training plans to support the customers’ needs for using the Intelligence Community (IC) software tools. * Worked with the Field Support Engineers to ensure equipment was operational by End Users. * Worked alongside computer engineers to test the new Assured Bridge Virtual Private Network (VPN.) and authored the Welcome Packet and tutorial for new customers. * Responsible for writing tutorials for the Assured Bridge Cloud Storage and Micro Domain programs and a comprehensive User Guide for all tools for Helpdesk technicians to use when working with customers for access to create help tickets and provide self-help options. Requires ability to operate a personal computer, a telephone, copier, and other general office equipment (100%). Ability to conduct evaluation of third and fourth generation or current state of the art computer hardware and software and its ability to support specific requirements, interfacing with other equipment and systems. Attendance
Attendance is critical. Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. Being prompt is important to provide continuous and on-going service to customers. Attendance is important to maintain continuity of service. Work outside of normal duty hours may be required with as little as one hour advance notice. Overtime is infrequent, but important when required (1%). Other Essential Functions
