Thrifty Traveler Hiring for Social Media Manager and Content Creator Job at Minneapolis, MN Full Time

Thrifty Traveler is looking for a social media manager and content creator.

This person will be responsible for creating content to post on all social media platforms to spread Thrifty Traveler brand awareness and help grow the business. In addition, they will be responsible for customer service on those platforms. They will also be in charge of curating a group of affiliate influencers on social media.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain Thrifty Traveler’s brand

• Working with the Thrifty Traveler team to create and develop social media marketing strategies and campaigns

• Interacting with followers and customers via social media channels including the Thrifty Traveler Premium facebook group

• Designing and implementing a social media strategy to grow Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook accounts with the goal of converting followers to Thrifty Traveler Premium

• Setting and meeting key performance indicators for social media campaigns (likes, shares, views etc)

• Curate and manage influencer affiliates to help spread the word about Thrifty Traveler Premium

• Create and implement Premium member surveys

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• A passion for travel

• Professional experience and expertise in the following social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Twitter

• Ability to create engaging posts and videos on all platforms

• Must have excellent communication skills and an attention to detail.

• Customer service experience preferred

• Ability to keep up on social media trends and technology and be able to translate it into content

• Excellent time management skills for organizing and implementing posts on all platforms and coordinating with affiliates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
