The Wasserstrom Company is one of the top Food Service Equipment and Supply Distributors in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We currently have an opportunity available for an RPG Developer II in our Information Services Department at our corporate office. This position is will be working in a team of RPG developers to develop programs from detailed design specifications.
Duties Include:
Knowledge of system design and how it supports Company business, in addition to a strong understanding of core business processes and some experience in how to prepare test plans and/or detailed technical specifications. A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Computer Science is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. A minimum of 7 years RPG and AS/400 (i-Series O/S) experience, code development using RPGIII, RPGIV, RPG/ILE and RPG/Free. Demonstrated knowledge of distribution business processes and change management processes. Additionally, experience in the following areas is required:
