Jay Group is currently looking for a Vice President of IT Applications and Programming located in our Lancaster, PA Facility.

Job Summary:
The Vice President of IT Applications and Programming will lead an IT organization whose purpose is to develop platforms and solutions that drive the services business of the organization. This person will develop, plan, and implement an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the companys business needs. This person will also play an active role in the business development and sales process. Strong programming and coding experience and staying on top of the IT industry trends is essential.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Serves as a member of the executive team and works to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge and coaches IT Integration / web developer team on programming and coding
• Assists the business development team with preparing and presenting solutions to existing and prospective customers
• Leads the Companys cybersecurity efforts to protect against and remediate all cyber threats
• Ensures that the IT infrastructure adequately supports the company business requirements
• Identifies new technologies and approaches that enhance either services delivered to customers or the cost structure of the business.
• Develops, implements, and manages to the IT budget
• Anticipates future needs and establishes a long-term technology roadmap to ensure the technology solutions evolve in a planned and customer-focused manner

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees a staff of IT professionals and management, including employees and contractors onsite, virtual, and potentially offshore
• Organizes the IT team in a way that maximizes creativity and productivity
• Leads efficient operation of the team so that prompt modernization and upgrades of Information Systems are performed as needed
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Drives departmental performance through meaningful metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required; Masters degree is highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in administration of information systems and technology, with increasing level of responsibility throughout
• Experience in application design/engineering, including but not limited to programming/coding
• Strong understanding of the software development, testing, and deployment process
• Strong understanding and prior experience in deploying enterprise-wide cybersecurity and threat protection and remediation measures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent managerial skills, including managing performance and driving goal-oriented performance-based results
• Demonstrated experience in leading organizational change around technology
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer and business requirements into technology solutions
• Experience in effective identification and deployment of alternative development and support solutions, such as outsourcing and offshoring

Requirements:
