Job Description:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring clients’ social media strategies in order to increase brand awareness, engagement, and support broader marketing efforts. Interested applicants will need to be excellent multi-taskers, analytical, results-oriented, and proactive communicators with the ability to manage multiple objectives effectively.

Here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
• Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, or video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to engage.
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
• Participate in strategy and media planning meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of social media trends, and developments and best practices in digital marketing.
• Taking photos and videos for social media content.

Skills and experiences required for this role:

• 2+ years experience in a dedicated digital advertising role focused on Social Media Marketing.
• Solid understanding of social media KPIs for different marketing goals.
• Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/copy), and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and how they can be deployed.
• Strong project management or organizational skills.

Software and Digital Tools:

• Google Analytics and knowledge of Google Ad Words
• Experience with Social Media management platforms (e.g, Hootsuite)
• Canva
• Facebook Ad Manager
• Adobe Creative Suite
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
