The Human Resource role is responsible to advocating for our Summerhill family, assisting with recruitment, and retention! This special individual will serve as a support and assist with collaboration on ensuring the best, most effective staff members work within our facility to ensure the most quality based care is provided to our residents. This person will always work with the Summerhill staff to ensure that there is compassion and respect within our team! They will work with our staff and leadership teams to build up and continue a strong, positive morale!
This position includes but is not limited to:
Working with Department Heads on team building and employee engagement
Developing a recruitment and retention plan with leadership
Being proactive in hiring staff members needed to meet the needs of residents
Sourcing candidates to ensure appropriateness and collaborating with department heads to arrange timely interviews and assist with processing required paperwork and/or information needed for hire
Guide employees with benefit packages and retirement plans. Answers questions related to employee relations, benefits, leaves, and resources when needed
Assists employees with information pertaining to HR policies, procedures, enrollments, terminations, and open enrollment for benefits
Ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are correct and assessed on a regular basis
Assists leadership team with problem resolution between staff members when needed
This position will begin as part time position with potential to transition to full time
Initial hourly wage is 22-29 depending on experience with potential to grow within the position and within our team!a
