The Strength and Conditioning Coach will directly supervise the performance training program of Olympic sports assigned teams. The mission will be to contribute to the wellness of cadet-athletes, assist cadet-athletes in optimizing competitive performance, and contribute to the readiness of Army West Point Athletic Department (AWPAD) cadet-athletes. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to programming for individuals and groups on daily strength, speed, and conditioning performance and health (on-site and during travel); translating the latest scientific evidence into practical sports performance recommendations; tracking and documenting outcomes of training programs, maintaining health and safety of all cadet-athletes and strength facilities. This is a professional position, and all duties of the position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of the United States Military Academy (“USMA”), Army West Point Athletics Association Inc. (“AWPAA”), the Patriot League Conference and the NCAA.
