JOB BRIEF- SOFTWARE DEVELOPER INTERN:
The Software Developer Intern is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems. Primary responsibilities are to learn the codebase, work on small bug fixes, and participate in paired programming with mid-level and senior developers. job duties include attending and contributing to development team meetings, troubleshooting, patching computer code, documenting, and collaborating with other developers to create applications and service. Opportunities will involve working with legacy applications and learning the logistics industry, while leveraging current technology to evolve our internal/external services and offerings to be leaders in the market.

ROLES AND RESPONISBILITIES:
Assist with internal/external tech support requests.

Develop and analyze software requirements to satisfy product, project, and user requirements.

Define systems architecture and interfaces.

Develop software testing procedures, programming, and documentation.

Support all phases of in-house systems testing.

Generate technical deliverables to ensure schedule and quality of work are maintained.

Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to scheduled project timelines.

Prepare reports on project and task status.

Demonstrate professionalism in the workplace.

Function as a contributing member of the project team.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of software development.

Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.

Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.

Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Demonstrated critical attention to detail and deadlines and are self-motivated.

Ability to adapt well to changes in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented environment.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Experience with database management and architecture.

Familiarity with web services, configuration management and web application server administration are also highly desirable.

Understanding of MVC application development concepts.

Web development and WebRTC experience.

Mobile development/Responsive design experience a plus.

Knowledge of SQL Server, modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Vuex), ASP.NET, .Net, .net ORMs, C#, HTML, CSS, XML, REST/JSON and other software languages a plus.

Delphi experience a plus.
