Social Media & Video Content Producer
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid; local travel and onsite filming required)
Compensation: Contract Role | Monthly rate is negotiable based on experience and agreed-upon deliverables
About the Role:
Our client is building a bold, modern platform in financial services. Independent, advisor-led, and brand-forward, they’re not a legacy firm trying to modernize. They’re starting with a fresh slate and making media a key part of their strategy.
This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, can take a creative idea and run with it, and is just as comfortable filming in a studio as editing behind the scenes. You’ll manage everything from podcast production to social posting across platforms.
What You’ll Do:
Video & Content Production
- Lead all in-studio podcast filming (camera, mics, lighting, and production setup)
- Capture footage on-site at events, trainings, and candid team moments
- Edit content (or manage editors) to create short-form videos optimized for Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Maintain organized workflows: file management, asset delivery, and edit rounds
Social Media Execution
- Own brand presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Write, schedule, and post content; respond to DMs and comments; track trends
- Partner with the marketing team to align content with business objectives
- Track performance metrics and use data to inform future content strategies
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 to 4 years in content, video, or social media production (brand or agency experience preferred)
- Proven experience filming solo (DSLR or mirrorless setups, audio, and lighting)
- Strong editing skills and knowledge of short-form video best practices
- Comfortable managing brand social media accounts
- Self-starter mindset: organized, motivated, and accountable
Bonus if You Have:
- Experience with scheduling tools like Later or Buffer
- Experience managing freelancers or video editors
- Exposure to corporate or professional services environments
