About The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Producer to own the day-to-day creation of our social content.

You’ll take rough ideas from our team and turn them into posts, videos, scripts, talking points, interview prompts, quick explainers, and repeatable content formats. You’ll record content, direct others when needed, coordinate with video editors, manage revisions, and publish across our social channels.

This is not a video editing role. We have editors for that.

It is also not a “just schedule posts” role. We need someone who can make the content happen.

What You’ll Do

• Turn rough ideas into clear social content concepts.
• Create hooks, scripts, talking points, captions, and post copy.
• Record raw video content yourself or with members of our team.
• Be comfortable on camera when the content calls for it.
• Direct simple recordings, interviews, demos, explainers, and founder-led content.
• Package raw footage, notes, examples, and direction for video editors.
• Review edited videos and give clear revision feedback.
• Manage the content flow from idea to recording to edit to publish.
• Post or coordinate posts across LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
• Build repeatable formats so we are not reinventing the wheel every week.
• Watch what performs and use that feedback to improve the next round.
• Keep us sounding sharp, useful, human, and allergic to generic AI hype.

What You’re Good At

• You can take a half-formed idea and turn it into something people understand.
• You know how social platforms work and what makes content feel native.
• You have strong instincts for hooks, pacing, point of view, and clarity.
• You can make complex topics feel accessible without dumbing them down.
• You are comfortable recording content with a phone, webcam, or simple camera setup.
• You can work with editors and give useful feedback.
• You are organized enough to keep ideas, drafts, footage, edits, and publishing moving.
• You have taste. You know when something feels smart, forced, funny, boring, useful, or cringe.

What This Is Not

• Not a video editor role.
• Not a graphic design role.
• Not a pure social media scheduler role.
• Not a “make us go viral” role.
• Not a job for someone who needs every idea handed to them fully baked.

Helpful Experience

• Experience creating social content for a company, founder, agency, brand, or your own channels.
• Strong writing skills for short scripts, captions, hooks, and posts.
• Comfortable with LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with video editors or creative contractors.
• Interest in AI, business, technology, operations, or how companies actually work.
