Smith Center for Healing and the Arts Hiring for Administrative Assistant for Artist in Residence Inova PT Job at Remote Remote

Artist-in-Residence (AIR) Program Administrative Assistant:

• Will work twenty-four (24) hours a month supporting the AIR program
• Assist Smith Center’s AIR Program Manager with managing and monitoring the Artist in Residence Program budget, including but not limited to: sending and approving monthly artist invoices and forwarding to Smith Center for approval; ordering arts supplies and other approved supplies and equipment; and, tracking actual monthly expenses against the approved budget;
• Coordinate artists weekly shifts and develop monthly AIR schedules for patient and staff activities across Inova locations, communicate with artists regarding changes in shift work and assist with finding substitutes as needed;
• Monitor and remind artists of requirement to submit log reports within 24-48 hours of weekly shifts;
• Assist with the coordination of contractual agreements with visiting/guest artists for approval by Smith Center Program Manager;
• Communicate with artists to maintain an adequate stock of arts supplies and equipment for AIR services across Inova locations; and
• Coordinate with AIR Program Manager to assist with the preparation of scheduled reports and communications with the Smith Center Executive Director, Inova Schar administration, and other staff and/or consultants as assigned (e.g. quantitative and qualitative data about artist service hours, patients and locations served, etc.).

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Experience:
