Skilled Handyman / Remodeling Technician

also known as Professional Home Repair Services, is a growing residential
remodeling and home repair company serving the San Antonio area. We take pride
in quality craftsmanship, reliability, clear communication, and professional
service from start to finish.
Our projects include kitchen and bathroom remodeling, home repairs, custom improvements, and detailed finish work. We are looking for a dependable, motivated team member who takes pride in doing the job right and wants to be part of a growing

Position Overview
This position is
ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential remodeling, handyman
work, and general home repairs. WE are looking for a dependable team member who
can do a little bit of everything and is comfortable working on a variety of projects.
This role is physically demanding and requires strong work ethic and attention
to detail.
Responsibilities
– Demo work (removal of materials, prep work)
– Drywall installation, repair, and texture touch-ups
– Basic plumbing and electrical work, when appropriate
– Cabinet installation and adjustments
– Door and hardware installation
– Painting and punch-list work
– Trim carpentry (baseboards, casing, finish work)
– Basic framing tasks
– Floor and dust protection setup on job sites
– Maintain clean and organized work areas
– Assist with organizing and maintaining tools in company trailer
– Job site cleanup at end of day
– Assist with completing projects on schedule
Requirements
– Valid Driver’s License
– Reliable vehicle & transportation
– Be able to pass a mandatory background check
– Have experience with residential remodeling and handyman work
– Able to lift 50+ lbs
– Willing to perform physical labor daily
– Dependable and punctual (show up on time)
– Communicate professionally with team members and homeowners
– Respectful of clients’ homes and job sites
– Be able to follow directions and complete work with attention to detail
Preferred Experience
– Remodeling or construction experience
– Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
– Cabinet installation and trim carpentry
– Drywall, minor plumbing, or electrical experience
– Demo and job site prep experience
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Working in occupied homes with homeowner’s present
Compensation & Benefits
– $24 to $26/hour starting pay
– After 90 days, eligible employees may qualify for:
– Opportunity for pay increase after 90-day evaluation
– Paid time off for vacation and sick days
– Up to 5 paid holidays per year
– Fuel compensation for jobs outside Loop 1604 (San Antonio area)
– Steady residential remodeling and home repair work
Schedule
Full-time | Monday – Friday
