Skilled Carpenter Full Time NEW

We are looking for experienced carpenters willing to work in the greater Green Bay area! Our company builds custom homes and has been doing so for 29 years.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other material
• Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials
• Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.
• Examining building materials to identify any defects
• Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.
• Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Skills:

• Framing, Sheeting, Cutting, Measuring
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation for cutting, shaping, and joining materials
• Strong blueprint reading skills to understand project specifications
• Ability to handle heights (climbing on roofs)
• Ability to heavy lift (50 -60 Ilbs)
• Able to work in outside conditions (we still work through the winter season)
• Tool Belts strongly recommended
• High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree in carpentry or completion of a carpentry apprenticeship. (a plus)
• Physical strength and stamina.
• The ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
