3. Reports To: Plant Manager
4. Authority: All employees have the authority to stop operations/production for the following three reasons: 1) a quality defect, 2) an unsafe act, or 3) a health hazard.
5. Job Competencies/Duties (include, but are not limited to):
Competencies:
· Operate forklift
· Be able to lift 40 lbs.
· 1-year minimum experience of molding and/or assembly operations or equivalent
· Complete other specialized training as needed for assigned job duties. Examples: ATS machine operation, Visual SPC use, etc.
· High School diploma or equivalent work-related experience
· Problem solving skills
· Time management skills
· Excellent Communication skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Duties:
· Give breaks to operators.
· Train operators on the job and monitor progress.
· Complete training records.
· Report for work, clock in at scheduled time and be at workstation/area on time
· Move finished goods from the production area.
· Be familiar with all production jobs
· Check on, monitor operators
· Close out the Production Folders at the end of a run.
· Turn in Completed Operator Production Report.
· Helps rework parts if needed
· Assists maintenance in repairing any fixtures or equipment used for Assembly
· Ensure staging of items at workstation(pallet, boxes, and paperwork)
· Put together the Production folders and give them to the Picker.
· Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
· Read, understand & comply with Detailed Work Instructions for the part being run
· Complete Operator Production Report.
· Comply with all company procedures and policies
· Report for work, clock in at scheduled time and be at workstation on time
· Maintain clean and organized work area
· Be able to fill in for an operator running any operation in the assigned line.
· Set up/Startup of the assigned line or specific operations.
· Assign staff to required jobs.
· Balance operators to keep line running smoothly and meeting ship schedules.
· Make sure assigned PM’s are completed on time and accurately.
· Close out of the assigned line.
· Point of contact for Engineering, Quality and Supervisor.
· Advise needs/wants for each respective area.
· Maintain the highest quality work to continuously ensure customer satisfaction.
Pay: $18.50 – $22.00 per hour
