Production Assistant/ Assembler

Sepragen Corporation, is a small, fast growing company that is seeking a full time, experienced Production Assistant. The successful candidate must be a organized, hard-working, detail oriented, have good oral and written communication skills, possess the ability to work both independently and in a team. Computer Proficiency is required as is Mechanical ability and the usage of common hand tools like wrenches, screw driver etc.. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Forklift experience useful. Must possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record. Experience in a high-tech professional manufacturing environment is preferred.

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Warehouse organization, inventory count and recording
• Receiving, Parts inspection and documentation
• Matching against PO and generating vendor returns
• Kitting of parts for Assembly
• Mechanical Assembly, testing and documentation
• Keeping Office and Production Area Organized and Clean
• Packaging and Crating of parts for shipment to vendors and customers
• Occasional pick-up and drop off of parts to and from vendors

Minimum Qualifications are High School (some college preferred) plus 5-7 years of work experience, or Trade school with 3-5 years work experience.

The position is full time at the Union City, CA location and compensation includes salary, health/ dental/ vision insurance and PTO (after probationary period). The job will require a reference and background check.
