Mayo Clinic is building one of the most ambitious digital twin and simulation programs in healthcare, anchored in the Bold. Forward. Unbound. campus transformation initiative. As a Simulation Engineer on the Omniverse Platform team, you will design, develop, and operationalize Real Time 3D simulation environments that represent Mayo Clinic’s physical campuses, clinical workflows, and medical research scenarios.
You will work at the intersection of enterprise technology and clinical innovation, translating complex facility, operational, and research data into living digital models. Your work will directly support space planning, surgical and procedural simulation, equipment optimization, and research into human-machine interaction in clinical environments.

Qualifications
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree in Computer/Science/Engineering or related field with 7 years of experience.
Have in-depth knowledge of software engineering with experience coding applications or services in a high-level language (C, C+, Golang, Java, C# etc.) and a basic knowledge of related fields. Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills. Possesses strong technical aptitude for designing and implementing software solutions. Experience with modern application development frameworks. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Deep hands-on technical expertise, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Agile software development techniques.

$141,024.00 – $204,526.40/year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

M-F daytime hours. This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of the Rochester Campus with an expectation to work on-site approximately 3 days per week.
