Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration units.
• Perform comprehensive equipment repairs, installations, and routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to execute precise service procedures.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts effectively.
• Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems, plumbing, appliance repair, and general mechanical upkeep.
• Lead field service operations by coordinating with clients on service needs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timely project completion.
• Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, including inspection reports, repair logs, and schematic updates.

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction environments with a focus on HVAC system installation and maintenance.
• Proven service technician background with hands-on expertise in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical knowledge essential for complex troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices accurately.
• Familiarity with property maintenance procedures related to air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and general mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for safe transportation between job sites.
