Through its Columbia, Maryland offices, the Commercial Mortgage Asset Services (CMAS) group is the premier provider of corporate trust products and services within the securitization industry. CMAS is a division within the CTS business of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. The CMAS group offers a complete package of integrated services for issuers of Commercial Mortgaged Backed Securities, Commercial Property Defeasance, Asset Backed and Commercial Real Estate CDO transactions, including trustee, calculation agent, reporting agent and securities administration.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill an Analyst 2 position within this group. The core function of the Analyst 2 is to participate in the development and delivery of Wells Fargo CTS products and services. The Analyst 2 position requires individuals to possess problem solving and analytical skills, planning and organizing skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, ability to comprehend legal documents, communication skills and adaptability. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively within a team structure to resolve operational issues, to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, and to ensure compliance with all internal operational guidelines and procedures. This position will be responsible for payment and reporting tasks associated with CRE and ABS CDO, Commercial Property Defeasance, CMBS, and CRE CLO administration.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
