Saluda Nursing & Rehab Center Hiring for Custodian/Floor Tech (1st or 2nd Shift) Full Time

Located just outside of Saluda, South Carolina, Saluda Nursing and Rehab Center is a non-profit 176-bed nursing care facility, serving the Midlands and Lakelands since 1968. We offer 24/7 skilled nursing care and our staff is consistent, compassionate, caring and knowledgeable.

Applicant must be able to perform a variety of custodian and housecleaning functions under specific instructions and with very little need for individual judgment in working out problems. Adapted to repetitive cleaning operations throughout the workday. Will have to be cross-trained between housekeeping and laundry shifts. Any and all other duties that the Environmental Services Manager may assign.

Available Shifts:

• 1st (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• 2nd (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Job Duties:

• Clean and service living areas, rooms, baths, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash window sills.
• Empty trash baskets.
• Arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
• Clean and polish bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push heavy equipment at one-hour intervals without a rest.
