The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-directed, with the ability to work in a stand-alone role and as part of a team, and who sets a high standard for themselves and the work product. The Candidate should also demonstrate commitment to RPA’s values of integrity, diversity, quality and trust.
The IT Support Associate will be the main point of contact for desktop support, playing a proactive role in the maintenance and administration of workstations, laptops, and mobile devices including inventory. The IT Support Associate will also play a key role in supporting general office management and will serve as a point of contact, including interfacing with vendors and building management staff.
The responsibilities include:
+Providing end user support and technical assistance in the use of computers (workstations &laptops), and software applications, including working with hardware and software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve any related issues
+Setting up and configuring desktop computers, peripherals and accounts
+Installing, maintaining and configuring hardware and software systems according to company policies
+Proactive approach in the maintenance of computer equipment, including troubleshooting, repairing, computer and peripheral testing and diagnoses, and escalating corrective procedures to other technical resources as appropriate
+Assisting in the installation and maintenance of telephone system
+Ordering and stocking equipment and supplies as necessary
+Maintaining inventory of all IT equipment, software and software licenses
+Providing support for all AV requirements for meetings
+Acting as a customer liaison with managed service provider, proactively communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns, as needed and assigned
+Contributing to team goals by accomplishing related duties, including processing of expenses as assigned
Education: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience
+Clear, effective communications skills – both written and verbal
+Exceptional customer service, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
+Ability to work productively independently and under limited supervision
+Accuracy and ability to pay close attention to details is vital
+Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
+Eager to learn multiple facets of Operations
+Proficiency in Windows 10 and Office 365 is required
+Experience with cloud based software a plus
+Knowledge of NetSuite, Concur, Fluxx, grants management software preferred
+Knowledge of and commitment to the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors is a plus
+Ability to lift up to 50 pounds a must
