Strategic Client Advisory: Serve as the primary planning liaison between manufacturing hubs and clients’ executive teams, conducting regular business reviews to align on growth and inventory health
Retail Forecasting & Demand Planning: Lead the development of consumer-demand forecasts, and seasonal planning strategies with client merchandisers
Inventory & Shop Allocation: Design and execute sophisticated store-level allocation and replenishment strategies based on localized performance tiers, capacity, and demographics
Supply Chain Alignment: Translate retail-level sell-through data and insights into actionable production and manufacturing schedules to optimize lead times
Lifecycle Management: Manage product lifecycles from launch allocation to end-of-season markdown strategies, minimizing both stockouts and overstock
Process Innovation: Drive the adoption of advanced planning software, predictive analytics, and standardized KPIs to elevate client-facing services
Qualifications & Requirements
8–10+ years of progressive experience in retail planning, demand forecasting, allocation, or merchandise planning.
Experience working within a manufacturing or consumer goods environment directly supporting tier-1 retail clients is highly preferred.
Advanced expertise in retail planning/ERP systems and expert-level Excel capabilities.
Proven ability to leverage complex data sets to drive multi-million-dollar inventory, replenishment, and allocation decisions.
Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with a track record of influencing Director and VP-level stakeholders at retail partner organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Based in the US with the ability to travel to client sites and manufacturing headquarters as required.
