The Regional Operations Director serves as the company’s primary operational management leader within a designated region, bearing full responsibility for establishing the regional operational framework, managing business delivery, and driving improvements in operational performance. Through process optimization, resource integration, and enhanced execution, this role ensures the stable operation of regional business activities, facilitates high-quality service delivery, and supports the achievement of revenue and profit targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
**I. Regional Operations Planning and Execution Management**
* Formulate regional operational plans aligned with the company’s overall strategy and regional business objectives;
* Translate revenue and profit targets into concrete operational actions and execution roadmaps;
* Establish a regional operational cadence and regular meeting mechanisms to ensure progress toward objectives;
* Assist the Regional Head in optimizing resource allocation and cost structures.
**II. Business Delivery and Service Management**
* Oversee project delivery, service operations, or production management within the region;
* Establish standardized operating procedures and management protocols;
* Monitor delivery progress, quality standards, and cost controls;
* Enhance customer satisfaction and service stability.
**III. Efficiency Improvement and Cost Optimization**
* Analyze regional operational efficiency and cost structures;
* Drive process optimization initiatives and special projects aimed at cost reduction and efficiency gains;
* Improve workforce productivity, equipment utilization rates, or service efficiency;
* Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement and operational reviews.
**IV. Operational Performance and Data Management**
* Establish a regional operational KPI framework and performance assessment mechanisms;
* Conduct periodic operational analyses and diagnostic assessments;
* Drive decision-making and operational optimization through data-driven insights;
* Report on operational status and performance to the Regional Head and Headquarters.
**V. Organization and Team Building**
* Lead the regional operations team, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and performance targets;
* Build an operational organization characterized by strong execution capabilities and efficient collaboration;
* Promote the enhancement of operational management skills and the development of a talent pipeline;
* Foster a work culture that is results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
**VI. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Headquarters Liaison**
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support departments;
* Facilitate the implementation of Headquarters policies and operational standards within the region;
* Coordinate cross-regional resources to support key clients or major projects;
* Provide feedback on regional operational challenges and market dynamics.
**VII. Risk and Compliance Management**
* Manage regional operational risks, quality risks, and contractual risks;
* Establish internal control and compliance management mechanisms within the region;
* Ensure that operations adhere to company policies as well as relevant laws and regulations;
* Safeguard the company’s brand reputation and maintain customer trust.
**Job Qualifications**
**Educational Background**
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
* MBA preferred. **Work Experience**
20+ years of experience in operations or general management;
At least 15 years of experience in regional operations or branch office management;
Proven track record of accountability for regional operational metrics or profit targets;
Experience collaborating across departments or within a matrix organizational structure.
