At RealEats, we make it easy for individuals and families to prepare locally sourced, farm-quality meals in 6 minutes or less. As an innovative Meal Prep company, we’ve removed the hard parts of cooking so that our customers can spend more time with the people and things they love.

We’re is seeking a detailed oriented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to help us convey that vision to potential and existing customers. Working at a high-growth start-up, our ideal candidate understands that no project is the same and no task is to big or too small. One day this individual could be designing a pitch deck for investors and the next working on a social media graphic.

We’re in the process of re-envisioning our approach to content and are looking for someone who is willing to contribute new ideas, keep up with current trends, and help elevate how we tell our brand’s story visually. While adventurous in their designs, this designer has a clear understanding of how to work within an existing brand guide and take direction from senior leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Develop digital and print creative assets from conception to final deliverable,

• Ideate and execute graphics for digital, video, social, advertisements, and email.

• Work with members of Senior Leadership to get presentation decks ready for our external partners

• Provide support on food packaging designs, direct mailers, and other print needs.

• Resize, manipulate, and organize assets (static+video) for specific platforms

• Export finished deliverables and maintain an organized filing system.

• Help maintain brand standards and expand brand identity

• Come up with design directions that engage with our consumers in new ways and extend our brand

• Manage multiple projects at once and be able to communicate updates, progress, and roadblocks

• Work directly with Marketing and Content Teams to make sure that all creative needs are met.

Technical Requests

• At least 1 year of experience and a portfolio to show for it

• BA/BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent experience preferred.

• Clear understanding Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

• Foundational Knowledge around animation and prototyping tools such as After Effects, XD, Sketch, Figma, etc

• Knowledge of GIF Animations

• Working knowledge of print and prepress production.

Additional Qualifications

• Clear attention to detail and consistently holds themselves to high standards

• Strong time management skills and an understanding of the importance of deadlines and communication

• Communicates easily with others whether spoken or written

• Is able to back up design decisions and clearly communicate their thought process when asked

• Works well in a fast pace setting and can take direction from a variety of different leadership styles

• Basic understanding of marketing and how good design can help drive business.

This role is a remote position but the majority of our team is based in the greater NYC Region and works on east coast hours. As a member of our content team, you’ll report directly to our Director of Content and Director of Performance Marketing.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
