As a PCB librarian, you will manage and maintain libraries of components used in our designs.
You will work closely with the PCB engineers and the Electrical engineers to create new footprints and schematic symbols upon request as well as modification of existing libraries to meet standardization goals.
Secondary responsibilities will be to track and maintain documentation for products, ensuring the final documentation meets requirements for ISO: 9001.
The PCB Librarian will design footprints to meet the specifications as defined by the component datasheet.
Footprints are to be either made or modified to meet IPC-735x.
Working closely with PCB Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Mechanical Engineers at QorTek, to develop accurate footprints to meet the needs of the company.
Working with the Program Managers and Lead Engineers team, to determine what documentation is needed to reflect the final product for QA and ISO: 9001.
