Position: Tank Installer / Field Operations Tech
Description:
Assist the Minibulk Group in developing, implementing, training, and applying industry best practices related to Operations. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the Minibulk Tank Installer / Field Operations Tech is empowered to manage work priority and to engage the proper resources to develop and implement systems, tools, and administrative standards.
Primary Responsibilities (May include but not limited to):
· Responsible for safe and efficient installation of storage tanks and delivery of chemicals in all regions
· Review and develop operating procedures to maximize safety and minimize equipment failures
· Analyze trailer/equipment/machinery failures
· Act as a technical consultant for Minibulk sales representatives and make joint calls when necessary
· Responsible for the installation of tanks and managing the process
· Determine and schedule preventive maintenance
· Schedule workloads and repair priorities
· Schedule contractors as appropriate
· Order required equipment /parts
· Maintain appropriate replacement parts inventory
· Maintain appropriate records of repair/replacement/maintenance
· Ensure safety violations are addressed and develop a corrective action to prevent future violations
· Conduct incident investigations
· Maintain logs and forms as appropriate
· Read and understands blueprints, specifications, and pertinent standards
· Understand NACD Responsible Distribution management system.
· Knowledge of class 8 corrosive chemicals
· 24 hour HAZWOPER course
· Maintain appropriate records of repair/replacement/maintenance for trucks and trailers
· Conduct safety audits and incident investigations
· Ensure safety violations are addressed and develop a corrective action to prevent future violations
· 50% or more travel required
