Role Overview

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and highly professional Public Relations Intern to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in public relations, communications, marketing, or journalism. You will help support media outreach, monitor brand coverage, coordinate press materials, and assist with communications initiatives that enhance brand awareness and engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Research and identify relevant media outlets, journalists, editors, bloggers, influencers, and industry publications for outreach opportunities
• Maintain and update media contact databases, ensuring information remains accurate and organized
• Assist in drafting press releases, media advisories, company announcements, and other communications materials
• Monitor media coverage, press mentions, and industry news, preparing regular coverage reports and summaries for internal stakeholders
• Assist with the preparation of press kits, brand fact sheets, executive biographies, and media resources
• Track and organize incoming media inquiries, helping ensure timely follow-up and responses
• Conduct competitor and industry research to identify emerging trends, media opportunities, and potential partnerships
• Collaborate with marketing, social media, and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across communications channels
• Support the measurement and reporting of PR campaign performance using media monitoring and analytics tools

Qualifications & Skills

• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional, error-free content
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable conducting online research and synthesizing information into concise reports
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication trends
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication skills
