What’s the Job?
DRG is embarking on a period of exciting growth and expansion. We are looking for a reliable, personable Project Administrator to support the DRG Team with a range of administrative and project coordination tasks, primarily in support of our Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness practice.
The Project Administrator will serve in a key role on our consulting project teams, helping to support client engagements and internal operations for purpose-driven organizations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can prioritize effectively, take initiative, and thrive in a remote work environment. This role will report to the Director, Engagement Operations.
What will I do every day?
Scheduling and Calendar Management in Outlook
The Project Administrator will manage and maintain calendars for DRG client engagements, ensuring project timelines, deadlines, and milestones are clearly tracked and communicated to the team. This role will coordinate complex scheduling across multiple time zones, working closely with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders.
In addition, The Project Administrator will also manage, schedule, and maintain calendars for the Senior Partner and Principal & Managing Director leading the Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness Practice. While the primary focus will be on Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness engagements, the Project Administrator will also assist with support for the broader team on an as-needed basis.
General Project Administrative Support
The Project Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness practice and clients. This includes proofreading, preparing, and formatting documents using tools such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Canva, Microsoft Office Products, and Adobe. The role will also support the organization and maintenance of DRG files and records across platforms, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. From time to time, this role may extend similar administrative support to the broader team to ensure seamless operations across the organization.
Project Management
The Project Administrator will provide project management support to the Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness practice. This includes partnering closely with DRG consultants to coordinate and oversee multiple concurrent workstreams for complex client engagements. The project administrator will help translate high-level project goals into actionable plans, and help draft and maintain detailed project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure that internal and external stakeholders are aligned throughout the engagement. This includes usage of project management software such as Monday.com and Asana.
DRG Teamwork
The Project Administrator will work closely with the DRG team on both internal and client-facing projects, playing a vital role in keeping workstreams organized and moving forward. As part of the Project Administrator and Operations Team, this role will also contribute to company-wide initiatives, learning opportunities, and team development efforts. Flexibility and a team-first mindset are key, as this role may partner with colleagues on the search team to provide additional support where needed.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a collaborative team player with strong administrative and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience as an administrative assistant, project manager, or in a similar role. They should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office products and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This person must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and feel energized by a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They will interact with a variety of team members and clients throughout the day, requiring strong interpersonal skills and adaptability. At DRG, we value impeccable follow-up and follow-through, strong work ethic, deep curiosity, and a high level of accountability, qualities that are essential for success in this role.
This role requires proactive communication and strong organizational instincts. Ideally, this person will be able to anticipate next steps and help the team stay ahead of deadlines. The Project Administrator will participate in weekly internal project team meetings, help prepare agendas and follow-up actions, and maintain clear documentation. The Project Administrator will serve as a trusted partner, helping consultants manage the multiple components of complex consulting projects to support DRG’s commitment to deliver high quality, thoughtful experiences to our clients.
Compensation and Benefits:
DRG offers a comprehensive compensation package. Starting base salary for this position is $60,000, with opportunities for introductory commission and discretionary bonuses. We look forward to sharing more details about the total value of candidate compensation packages.
Location: This is a full-time, exempt position. Location is flexible; our staff work from home offices or shared workspaces near where they live. Working hours are typically 9am-5pm Eastern or Central time with occasional need for availability outside of those hours. Some travel may be required in the future; the amount and locations will vary depending on client needs.
