Summary

The Product Operations Specialist supports the end-to-end product lifecycle from item setup through site launch. This role is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing product listings and data while ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and timely execution of new arrivals and collection drops. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about e-commerce and fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the product-to-site process to ensure timely and accurate product launches aligned with collection deadlines and brand goals
• Create and maintain product listings, including writing clear, detailed, and SEO-optimized product descriptions
• Monitor inventory and product availability, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly activated or deactivated on site
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, photography, buying, and product development) to ensure all product assets (images, videos, copy) meet brand standards and deadlines
• Organize and manage product imagery, selection of thumbnails, and maintaining structured asset libraries
• Measure samples and provide accurate fit and product details for customer-facing content
• Manage product categorization, tags, filters, color swatches, and collection assignments
• Maintain and optimize features such as “Shop the Look” to support upselling opportunities
• Review product data for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Support administrative and operational tasks related to product development and merchandising

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-3+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, product data, or related field (internship experience applicable)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce) and product data systems is a plus
• Strong written communication skills, including copywriting and product storytelling
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, systems, and databases
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Interest in fashion, retail, e-commerce, or product development preferred

Compensation

• Salary range: $40,000 – $50,000 annually, based on experience
