Private Equity Associate, Energy Full Time NEW

Sharing an opportunity with a leading North American energy infrastructure investment platform.

They are looking to hire an Associate for their Private Equity team in New York to support investments across power generation, renewables, energy storage, distributed energy resources, and related infrastructure platforms.

The role involves end-to-end exposure to the investment lifecycle, including:

• Financial modeling and investment underwriting
• Due diligence across commercial, technical, and regulatory workstreams
• Execution of acquisitions, refinancings, and development financings
• Portfolio management and value creation initiatives alongside operating teams
• Preparation of investment committee materials and financing presentations
• Exposure to complex capital structures including debt, project finance, and tax equity

Ideal profile:

• 3-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Familiarity or strong interest in energy / infrastructure investing
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high-responsibility, execution-focused environment
