Powder Coating Technician Full Time NEW

Summary:

RANS Designs is now hiring for the position of Powder Coating Technician. As a Powder Coating Technician, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to aircraft parts in accordance with the criteria of the RANS Quality Assurance Program.

Responsibilities:

· Perform responsibilities relating to RANS’ powder coating operations

· Sandblast and prep parts

· Operate manual electrostatic guns to apply powder to parts

· Check finished product to ensure highest quality

· Maintain equipment in good working condition

· Ensure work area is clean and hazard free

· Assist other related departments as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

· Ability to work with industrial equipment

· Previous experience sandblasting or powder coating preferred but not required

· Basic knowledge of machine shop practices

· Capable of standing, or working on your feet, for long periods of time

· Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted

· Good communication skills (verbal/written)

· High school diploma or GED
