The Director of Training & Development is responsible for the educational & leadership development of all Plum Market Team Members. They will work hand in hand with department Directors, the Support Group, Store Operations, Team Leaders and Marketing to make sure Plum Market is delivering on best of class Training and Development programs.
Who you are:
You have a passion for Plum Market; local organic, all natural and specialty brands and the desire to teach that passion to others.
You have experience creating effective training programs in written form, eLearning modules, YouTube modules, zoom/power point modules and in-person.
You have the experience and knowledge to balance the needs of all Plum Market departments, retail stores, and licensing partners.
You have the experience to help create new training strategies.
You have a respect, and a desire to mentor the people that handle and purchase Plum Market’s products.
You model and provide exceptional Guest Service to our Guests and Team Members.

What you will do:
Be the lead for all Training and Development initiatives.
Create and maintain eLearning for all departments and topics as needed.
Attend all new store openings to create a special on-site kick off for the new Team.
Attend weekly dept. meetings to give updates and deploy new modules.
Attend Store TL meetings, as needed to deploy new modules.
Track all training for DIR Group, Support Group, SO Group and TLs to keep everyone on track.
Schedule and follow up with ServSafe and Holiday Table Training.
SharePoint management and scheduling for Dir Group to make sure thing stay up to date.
Uniform Management, including the relationship with our suppler and special giveaway management.
Facilitating the special committees of Plum Market, including but not limited to the Training Focus Group, the Sustainability Committee and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Facilitation the process for all higher level interviewing.
