Department: Radiology Mammography

Location: Piedmont West Imaging

Schedule: Day Shift. 8 am – 4:30 pm

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for all aspects of the Imagingcomputer systems. To include documenting upgrades, identifying/correcting problems, and maintaining documentation related to imaging issues. Resolves technical and customer service issues and ensures that actions are taken when necessary. Provides training and education for staff and radiologists. Measures and monitors quality and outcomes. Oversees patient tracking to ensure regulatory compliance.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Five year clerical experience is required if no degree
• Previous experience in Radiology or equivalent medical experience.
• Thorough understanding of computer systems.
• Effective and appropriate interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, statistics, and performance improvement practices.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

• None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Radiology Technology, Computer Science, or Business preferred.
