Patientco Hiring for Manager, Application Engineer – FinTech at United States Full Time
What you’ll be doing:
* Provide effective team management, leadership and mentoring
* Uphold high standards for engineering throughout both the development and test phases
* Execute on established vision for the teams and ensures team members are performing at the needed level to successfully realize their goals
* Hire, develop, mentor, and lead amazing teams
* Lead by example to facilitate a culture of teamwork, success, and customer-centric focus
* Develop and hone an agile development process that emphasizes test automation, code reviews, and fast release cycles
What we’re looking for:
* Experience with statically typed / compiled languages (c#, java, c, go)
* Experience with dynamically typed / interpreted languages (javascript, python, php)
* Experience with Relational Databases (sql server, mysql, postgres)
* Experience with cloud technologies (aws, gcloud, azure)
* Experience as a Technical Lead/Lead Engineer
* Experience with Version Control (git)
* Experience with Unit and Integration Testing Methodologies
* Experience building highly-scalable software solutions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & welcome change
* Highly self-motivated
* Ability to work both in team and solo environments
* Demonstrates Leadership
Preferred Skills:
* Experience scaling real-time high availability APIs
* Experience integrating with payment gateways and processors (Stripe, Elavon, Authorize.Net, NMI, USAePay, WorldPay, TSYS, etc)
* Experience with finance and banking processes and concepts (merchant accounts, ACH, settlement, etc)
* Prior experience as a people leader
* Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
