Supports more experienced Subcontract Administrators with various tasks and administers one or more basic subcontracts to ensure that subcontractors fully meet Company and project requirements. This entry-level Subcontract Administrator typically has a fundamental knowledge of procurement processes. A willingness to travel to the subcontractor’s facility when necessary is required.

Reviews, verifies and enters Vendor Records into the Online Vendor Management system.
Reviews and verifies agreement documents for internal requirements and enters information into the Online Purchase Order system.
Prepares recommended source lists of qualified subcontractors, researching previous records of performance experience.
Assists in preparing the Request for Proposal form and helps to verify accuracy and completeness of proposal packages.
Receives subcontractors’ responses to requests for proposals, determines each subcontractor’s ability to meet Company and project requirements, and negotiates the terms and conditions. Prepares and issues small-dollar fixed-price subcontracts commensurate with delegated procurement authority.
Assists in preparing and negotiating subcontract amendments.
Prepares reports and contractual correspondence for project management and client. Maintains accurate tracking records.
Maintains and updates subcontractors’ files to include records of payment.
Performs subcontract closeout actions, completes file documentation, and forwards subcontract files to storage.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (or related field) and typically up to 2 years of related work experience involving typical procurement activities is required.
Basic knowledge of subcontracting activities, excellent written and oral communications skills, a working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with procurement, and an ability to negotiate subcontracts is required.
The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $56,160.00.
