Park Point Marina Inn Hiring for Hospitality Manager Full Time

Duluth’s #1 Award Winning Waterfront Hotel Resort is now accepting applications for a Hospitality Manager. Our 3 diamond 68 room hotel is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and customer service oriented individual to lead our team at the front desk on afternoon 3-11pm shift. We are seeking an energetic, service oriented, positive and self-motivated Hospitality Manager to join our already stellar team. The Hospitality Manager will report to the Executive Manager and work closely with our Guest Service Representatives on the afternoon 3-11pm shift to guide them in all aspects of delivering top-notch service to our guests. Applicants should possess superb guest service skills and supervisory experience with a proven track record for success. Position required to be able to work weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assigns duties to front desk staff and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures on afternoon 3-11pm shift.

• Provides training to front desk staff.

• Assists in the selection of front desk staff and complete necessary paperwork.

• Receives and resolves or assists in resolving guest complaints and personnel concerns.

• Covers shifts at Front Desk as necessary or as scheduled by senior management.

• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 1 year of hotel or resort experience is required

• Should have general knowledge of all aspects of hotel operations, including thorough knowledge of Front Desk Operations

• Strong Leadership skills and the ability to effectively select, motivate, develop and retain staff

• Ability to manage change effectively with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills

• Team building effectiveness with excellent organizational skills to include time management, ability to delegate, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Possess an aptitude to create a fun, rewarding and professional work environment

• Valid Driver’s License required
