Are you an experienced HVAC Service Technician?

Air-O-Smith Heating & Air Conditioning is a growing, veteran-owned HVAC company serving the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We’re looking for a Lead HVAC Service Technician or Manager with 5+ years of experience who takes pride in quality work, professionalism, and customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Install, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues
• Clearly explain system conditions and options to homeowners
• Complete job notes, photos, and recommendations in Housecall Pro
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Mentor apprentices and junior techs as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC installation or service experience
• EPA 608 Certification
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer communication and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergency calls

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Rotating on-call (every 4–5 weeks)
• Overtime available
