ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Cleans parts using all processes according to instructions for one or more surfaces .
Understand quality specifications and perform quality checks on own work.
Reviews drawings and instructions to verify physical dimensions, cleaning methods, and appropriate tooling.
Able to interpret blueprints, work orders, travelers and perform cleaning methods on small optics using both hands and a variety of tools such as tweezers, clamps, Q-tips etc.
Fills out proper records, and follows logging procedures.
Delivers parts to next department.
Maintains inventory of chemicals and supplies.
Sets up cleaned optics at coating fixtures for coaters.
Visually inspects optics for defects on both coated and uncoated substrate.
Operates optics cleaning machine if needed.
Works with manufacturing team to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and improve quality.
Follows all safety regulations.

· Efficiently and safely transport fragile materials within the work area or to other departments (carrying distance is approximately 15 yards).
· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds from standing position, using arms, shoulders, back and upper body.
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:
·High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience Required:
·Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field
