Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Compensation: $30.00 per hour

2nd Shift: 4 pm to Midnight

You will love working as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for this very successful, stable and rapidly growing manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This is a contract-to-hire position and a great way to get your foot in the door at a well-established company.

It is a 2nd shift position and the hours are 4 pm to Midnight.

What you’ll be doing:

* Provide support to manufacturing with special analysis.
* Identify, monitor and analyze problem areas for root cause and cost implications, making recommendations for corrective actions for purchased parts, capability studies, capacity analysis, quality, processes and materials.
* Support improvements to existing products.

Qualifications:
* High school degree required, two year technical degree preferred.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience.
* High level of knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment and detailed knowledge of plants various product lines.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical and problem solving skills.
* Knowledge of plant operations and policies and procedures related to manufacturing, engineering.
* Application ability with personal computers.
