OSS is seeking a talented Engineer to provide engineering support the Sustainment Engineering Team in the Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC). The engineering support will include system engineering, technical reviews of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), review of Technical Data Packages (TDP)s and participation in technical meetings.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead a combined project team of government and contract employees located in many different locations while meeting directed delivery dates to meet fielding requirements.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems encountered with vehicle level issues in that could include electrical or mechanical systems.
Conduct system engineering tasks to include risk management, data management, and trade study analysis.
Develop Subject Matter Expertise on a variety of combat vehicle subsystems.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Familiar with Systems Engineering and DoD Acquisition processes.
Familiar with systems/subsystems for Ground Combat Vehicles.
Ability to travel to various customer and contractor facilities and test centers (10% Travel).
Desired Skills:
Experience with US Army Ground Combat Vehicle System Electronics Hardware and Software Risk Management Framework for Ground Combat/Military Systems.

Experience
Required

• Familiarity with systems/subsystems for Ground Combat Vehicles
• Familiarity with DoD Acquisition Processes
• Expereince with Analysis, Troubleshooting and Resolving problems encountered with vehicle level issues (electrical or mechanical)
• Ability to Obtain a DoD SECRET Clearance / US Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of the customer-related requirements
• Experience in Leading Project Teams
• 5 year(s): BA and 5 years of work-related experience

Pay: $76,968.72 – $95,000.00 per year
