Office Manager Full Time

We are seeking an Office manager for a Newport News Client….

This role is responsible for:

• Employee Relations
• Benefit Administration
• Compiling and maintaining personnel records
• Coordinating and maintaining records of safety training, meetings, inspections and investigations.
• Recruiting, scheduling interviews, new employee on-boarding
• Training, supervision, and support of front office staff
• Maintaining procedures for office personnel including billing, purchasing, and order entry.
• Coordinating annual benefit renewals and business insurance renewals
• Communicating with vendors for facilities repair and maintenance
• Overseeing day to day activities of the office, handling correspondence, maintaining appearance of office and common areas.
• Managing data and physical record retention for company
• Providing direct administrative supports as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, booking travel, maintaining filing system, mailing and shipping packages, and updating contact database and employee list
• Oversee computer network along with I.T. contractor, manage technology assets
• Supervising the maintenance of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office areas
• Creating reports as needed for management

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of office management experience (preferred)
• Strong time-management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability
• Advanced computer skills and experience with online platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
• Ability to establish a Team atmosphere through leadership and employee development. Must possess the ability to get along well with others.

• Ability to handle confidential information
