We are currently seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer – REMOTE to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Job Role Summary

Design and develop custom applications and solutions that support healthcare insurance business processes. Offer deep knowledge of Oracle Database development methodologies and solutions. This position will report to a Team Lead with dotted line to the Solution Architects and Project Managers. The Software Development Specialist Advisor will work on various project assignments and provide support for business operations. Projects will follow both the Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze business requirements/processes to determine appropriate technology solutions.
• Using current programming language and technologies, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.
• Resolve customer issues with software solutions and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Interact with business users and IT to define current and future application requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of program development and analysis of capabilities designed to resolve business requirements utilizing Oracle products and tools.
• Ability to influence and set technical direction.

Minimum Requirements

• 8+ years of technical experience developing or supporting Oracle Database solutions using PL/SQL and/or Oracle Application Express (APEX)
• 5+ years of user interface and presentation design and development skills
• 5+ years analysis, design, and ability to deliver a quality product on time
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Bachelor of Business Administration Information Management

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite APIs/OITs
• Experience with Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow enterprise requirements for documentation, source control, and production turnover
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
